A full day combination tour of Helsinki highlights and a relaxing countryside drive to Porvoo offers a perfect overview of Finnish national heritage and idyllic countryside all in one day.
The day begins with an introductory panoramic drive of Helsinki area. On the way out of the historic city center, we will pass by the Finlandia Hall, Parliament building and Sibelius park and monument.
After a short drive though the typically Finnish countryside of granite bedrock and dense woodlands, we will arrive in a historic milieu of Porvoo. Our walking tour of one of the oldest towns in the country includes the old town cobbled streets and wooden buildings. You will have some free time for a coffee break or indulge in some shopping.
Upon return to Helsinki, we will continue with our discoveries of the capital city with stops at the Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral and Market Square. Situated close to the market, the Old Market Hall and Esplanade Park are delightful sites to see.
Your tour will end with a panoramic transfer back to the cruise harbor.
