This tour gives you the best overview of Tallinn: both traditional medieval Old Town and modern district venues with a drive by the Baltic Sea coastline through beautiful suburbs.
Starting with a drive to Kadriorg Park (and walk around) you will see KUMU Art Museum, Presidential Palace and beautiful Swan Pond on the way, and reach Pirita residential district, known for its attractive pine-forests.
Close to the Olympic Village you will see the ruins of 15th century St Bridget’s Convent. The sightseeing by van will end on Toompea Hill.
Exploring Tallinn Old Town on foot you will reach Tall Hermann Tower, stop outside St. Mary’s Cathedral (Dome Church), enjoy a visit to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and pause at one of the viewing platforms for an impressive bird’s-eye view. The tour ends in the center of Old Town where you can spend several extra hours for shopping, dining and sightseeing before returning back to the ship.
The touring day will end up with another panoramic drive back to the cruise port.
