3 Day Basic Tour (Private)

If you got used to a more relaxed pace but do not wish to miss what should definitely be seen in St. Petersburg – then this tour is a perfect fit for you. Along your three days stay you will travel to the most remarkable summer residences outside the city. First, you will explore the treasures of Catherine the Great’s preferred residence – Catherine’s Palace and will be impressed by its main wonder – Amber Room all decorated with amber. Then, you will have a relaxed peaceful walk along the grounds of Peterhoff Fountain Park situated next to the Gulf of Finland’s coastline. One of the most significant destinations along the way is, of course, gala rooms, treasures and art collections of the renowned State Hermitage Museum*. The sightseeing will not be full without the visit to the heart of the city – Peter and Paul Fortress with the inside visit to the Cathedral – the last resting place of the Romanovs; and the other two orthodox cathedrals of the city – magnificent St. Isaac’s and picture perfect Church of Our Savior on the Spilt Blood. During this tour you won’t be in a hurry and have the time for a leisure walk along the Nevsky Prospect, a cup of coffee at a local café, or curious visit to the local Food Market bringing you closer to the everyday life of the locals.

*The Hermitage visit does not include the Impressionist and Post Impressionist collection which moved to the General Staff Building.
